CareNet is an interfaith ministry to the frail elderly and medically homebound.

CareNet is a locally based, nonprofit, volunteer organization modeled after other Interfaith Volunteer Caregiver Programs found across the United States.

CareNet helps recruit, train and match volunteers who provide non-medical support services to the frail elderly and medically homebound.

CareNet is founded on the belief that faith organizations, community agencies, hospital and private service organizations can work together to close the gap between assistance already offered and those people who fall just short of the criteria requirements of those services.

CareNet is dedicated to helping people improve their quality of life and remain independent as long as possible.  CareNet volunteers provide services free of charge to those in need.

Services include:

+  Friendly visiting

+  Handyman for small home repairs and chores

+  Light housekeeping

+  Relief for primary caregivers

+  Telephone assistance

+  Transportation to medical appointments
